A 12th-century castle, legend has it that Château de la Jarthe was built on the orders of the Templars. However, it was the du Puy de la Jarthe family who gave it its name, and the first reconstruction took place in the 14th century.
Today, the château bears the marks of every era, and will seduce you with its unique style and grandeur: a wooden walkway from the time of the knights, a Gothic chapel, a Renaissance-style round staircase tower, and a keep with a breathtaking view over the 120-hectare park and surrounding countryside.

The Orangerie, which we saw being finalized, promises to be sublime, with imitation parquet flooring and a bar that you might recognize if you've been to the Ladurée boutique on the Champs-Élysées. Last but not least, the Provençal-style gîte will make it easy for you to accommodate your guests.
